The guy that helped Deepak to manipulate Mandiram's DNA report has come to his senses, he recalled everything he did for Deepak yet he had the heart to kill him, he is ready to work with Raju and expose Deepak. He gave Raju the original DNA report, Raju was set to go and present it to Pratap. Renuka learnt about it and informed Ambica and his son, Deepak actually devised a full proof plan to kill Raju, he ran him over with a truck, when he went to the hospital and find out that he survived, he poisoned his drip, Raju became restless and doctor came to evaluate him.
The doctor said that Raju will undergo a surgery which will cost #2.5m and to be deposited before the surgery proper. Roopa gave out her jewelries, Renuka's mum seized everything as part of the money Raju's family were owing her, Roopa went and asked her family for help.
Raju was saved eventually but it seemed Raju and Roopa's little secret of not actually being married has been exposed
